Land of Dreamcatchers!

Sometimes you never really know why you start liking some things. Over time, these things turn into obsessions. One such obsession for me is Dreamcatchers. To give you'll a brief summary, I was always fascinated by the art of making crafts, it still continues to drive me crazy. There is a certain essence that adds beauty to the materialistic substance thereby making powerful objects of art. I started learning to make dreamcatchers with the mere objective of gifting it a friend but later turned to be the brand ambassador of this Art. Haha. The feathers, the color, and the weave were points of great interest.  Google says that according to a tribal tradition these art pieces were hung by the child's bed, believing that the weave would absorb all the bad dreams and help them sleep peacefully. Quite fascinating. Let's just assume that dreamcatcher feeds positive thoughts and hence your quality sleep is assured. Contrasting colors, the texture, and feathers and the perfe...

My Saturday Mornings

If you would ask me to pick between sleeping in on a Saturday morning skipping breakfast or roam around the streets looking for some hot chai and steaming poha, I would definitely pick the second one. I am more of a  local-food-explorer-chai-savoring kinda person. Tell me what can get more interesting than the chaiwala asking " बहुत दिनो से दिखे नही मैडम??"😆 and this is when I realize the inseparable bond I have with CHAI and there is definitely some positivi-tea offered in every sip of that cute cutting chai glass💕. This has undoubtedly become my routine every Saturday morning. Let me tell you'll, it is these little things that bring more joy and will keep your spirits up and high all the time🤗 So go out, walk around and find some chai or anything you love to explore. Just get going. Maybe this is not the best thing you would wanna do on a Saturday morning but trust me you'll end up all chirpy and cheerful.  Happy chai-ing folks!!!😚 ...

Winter, There you are!!!

The cold breeze, mild chills, and plants dancing to the synchrony of the evening air, these are the beautiful things that bring more life than can actually be expressed. They make me so happy. "Mild Winters" that's what I want to call it. Winters in Mumbai are so pleasant. It makes me wanna melt. I think this is what some seasons offer to you - absolute bliss. This is the time where you gotta choose between two fan speeds because you know 4 is too much and 2 is too little. The same dilemma when it comes to selecting the perfect thickness of your blanket 😆 because sleep in this magical season is so crucial and necessary. The streets now look a little more happening and the beaches even more peaceful. Sunrises and sunsets become surreal and the chirping of birds becomes a hundred times sweeter. Such beauty. Winter, you better not go away very soon 😛😛 Honestly, the season that gives you butterflies in your stomach for no reason. Evening Sky View

Mumbai Mania!!

Everyone calls it the city of dreams, I always wondered why? All the stories I actually heard made a lot more sense when I first set foot in the 'sapno ki nagri- Mumbai' The hot summers, the mad rains, the pleasant winters, and the ever-busy crowd, this city never failed to surprise me. Walking kilometers down the Marine drive or sitting at the shore-- realizing the absolute positivity that the evening breeze has to offer. Believe me, when I am saying this, it's surreal. From having zero clues about my Survival here to finding the strength to believe I can do it, it has been a journey,, an absolute roller coaster ride that I will cherish throughout my coming days! The crazy but yummy food, local trains hustling with people, and the 24*7 availability of chai, and I think this is what gets the people closer and super welcoming! The process of meeting new people from all walks of life was so overwhelming but also managed to help me grow through the process of independe...

The Saviour

What do I write? Where do I start? My fondest memory definitely goes back to the time when I continuously observed her (mom) every move and tried to replicate that. Pleading her to get me a nose stud with a shining stone was a huge task but it eventually paid off. She was blamed for getting a piercing done for a six-year-old (me) but I was the happiest person :P. From being my fashion designer, and my favorite foodie partner to my fellow companion, she has made sure she was always there no matter what. No this does not mean she does not correct me when I am wrong, she does it mom style😂 And this is not a one-way feeling, we learn from each other. Yes. We are each other's mental strength. On this world mental health awareness day, I would like to acknowledge and thank her for all the small and the greatest things she had done for me. She stands like a pillar and sets everything right. Her words not only pushes all my problems away but also helps me find the simplest way of facing...

Food Food

Each of us has our own getaway far away from the ever-busy city life. It can be wandering in the nature seeking for peace that the city has failed to give or spending some quality time with friends and family. For me, one such getaway is food. Food is undoubtedly the best stress buster apart from the several things I do like Painting and Crafting. The reason food has become an emotion rather than just an immense necessity is because of the fact that I have one of the best foodie families. This ritual has started right when I was young. I still remember the restaurant we often visited, and the 6-year-old me called it “The Green Hotel” because of the light green décor the hotel had. My excitement knew no bounds when I learned that we were going to celebrate occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, or any special gathering @The Green Hotel. There are exactly two things I discovered there: the cute dwarf tree kept for decoration under the artificial lighting and the amazing Hara Bara Ke...
